2023 - Main events so far this year

So far this year we have had a week in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and a cruise from there back to Lisbon here in Portugal.

We stayed directly on Copacabana beach and took a few walks from that area, and also travelled into the city centre to see some of the main points of interest such as the Maracana Stadium. Also did the almost compulsory trip to see the Christ the Redeemer statue, and took the cable car to the summit of Sugar Loaf Mountain for the superb views over the city. However, wherever you are in Rio you are surrounded by spectacular views of the mountains, of the coastline and  numerous islands and bays.
